Luiza Freitas Caldas

Biography

 

Luiza holds a bachelor’s degree in economics (2017) and a master’s degree in behavioral science (2019) from Universidade de Brasilia (Brazil), where she is a Ph.D. candidate. She is interested in interdisciplinary research, both basic and applied, in behavior economics and social phenomena, especially group decision, cooperation, and cultural selection. Her interests led her to the Culturo-Behavior Science Verified Course Sequence (CBS-VCS) at Universidade de Brasilia with an internship at Oslo Metropolitan University (Norway). Her training included courses in cultural systems analysis, cultural intervention planning, and experiential learning with basic research. The CBS-VCS has resulted in the publication of the paper “Behavioral Systems Analysis in Understanding Models of Corruption Control” (Almeida et al., 2024)
