What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center is an online platform dedicated to educational content on the science of behavior. It offers a diverse range of resources including recorded presentations, journal articles, podcasts, blogs, and continuing education opportunities.
What kind of continuing education does the Learning Center offer?
ABAI is approved to offer the following continuing education (CE) offerings: American Psychological Association (APA), Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) – Learning and Teaching CEs, International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA).
Do members receive any Learning Center benefits?
Yes! ABAI members receive 10 free CEs per membership cycle.
Does the Learning Center offer free content?
Much of the content on the Learning Center is free to access. CEs must be purchased.

How do I access purchased CE content?
All purchased CE content will be available in the “My Content” section of the website.
How do I earn CEs?
Content that offers continuing education credits requires participants to purchase/claim and pass a brief quiz to earn the CE credit. Participants have three opportunities to pass the quiz. Failure to pass the quiz after three attempts results in a forfeiture of the CE credit. Once a participant passes the quiz, they will be asked to complete a brief survey
Can I save my quiz progress if I do not complete it after beginning?
No, you cannot save a partially completed quiz and return to it later.
What score do I need to pass the CE quiz and how many attempts do I receive?
Eighty percent (80 %) is required to pass the CE quiz. Participants receive three attempts to successfully pass the quiz.
What happens if I don’t pass the quiz in three attempts?
You will have three attempts to pass each quiz after watching the associated video. After three attempts, the quiz will no longer be available, and you will forfeit the associated CE credit. Refunds will not be granted for unearned credit.
Will I receive information on which questions I answered correctly?
At the end of each quiz, you will be taken to a screen telling you the number of questions you answered correctly. You will NOT be told which answers you got wrong.
How do I access my CE certificate?
Upon passing the quiz and completing a short evaluation, you will receive a confirmation email, and your CE certificate will be available for download in your ABAI portal (under “Tools”, then “Purchase CE and Print Documentation”). You can also access documentation for any completed CEs by navigating to the “Continuing Education” section and clicking “Print Documentation”.
Is there a time limit once I begin my quiz?
Once you begin a quiz there is no time limit for completion, though you cannot save a partially completed quiz and return to it later. CE quizzes are available for six months from the date of purchase.
Can I get a refund if I do not like the content of my CE purchase?
If you do not like the content, you may request a refund, unless you have already initiated the CE quiz. Email mail@abainternational.org to request a refund.
Can I earn CE credit for a video presentation if I already earned the same CE credit for attending the same presentation during the live event?
No, you cannot receive CE credit for a video of a presentation you received CE credit for in person at a conference or convention.
What do I need to do if I would like to earn multiple CE types for the same content (e.g., video, article review)?
If you would like to earn multiple CE types (APA, BACB, IBAO, NASP, QABA) for the same content, you are required to individually purchase each certificate. You may initially purchase multiple CE types, or purchase certificates for additional CE types for previously completed CE-eligible content. Not all content offers all CE types.
